Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions from new and existing RuffLand® Kennels dealers.

Production Lead Times

Our standard production lead time is currently 10–12 weeks from the time your order is finalized. Please note that this timeframe reflects production only and does not include transit time.
Shipping timelines will vary based on your location, but most orders arrive within 4–7 days once they leave our facility.

Happy Tails Rewards Program

Our Happy Tails Rewards Program rewards wholesale dealers for every purchase—helping you save more as you grow with us.

Earning Points

Earn 1 Happy Tail per $1 spent on every order. You can also earn bonus points by following us on social—50 Happy Tails for Facebook and 50 for Instagram.

Redeeming Rewards

Redeem your points on future orders, with 100 Happy Tails = $1. A minimum of 200 points is required to redeem, and rewards can be applied to orders of $500 or more. Discount codes (prefixed HTWSD) are account-specific and expire after 1 year.

Reward Tiers

  • Bronze: All dealers are automatically enrolled
  • Silver: Earn 10,000 points + 1,000 bonus
  • Gold: Earn 50,000 points + 2,500 bonus

Expiration

Points expire 1 year after they are earned, so be sure to use them regularly.

Shipping & Freight Policy

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the dealer. For stock orders shipping to a single location totaling $3,500 or more, a 15% reduction in shipping charges will be applied.
Dealers are responsible for all shipping-related charges, including refusals, returns, lift gate services, delivery notifications, detention (driver delays), and limited access locations. Any returned orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Pallet Guidelines

  • Up to 20 Medium Kennels per pallet
  • Up to 12 Intermediate Kennels per pallet
  • Up to 9 Large or X-Large Kennels per pallet
  • Up to 4 Titan Kennels per pallet
  • Mixed pallet configurations (including smaller kennels and accessories) are allowed

Warranty

RuffLand® offers a lifetime warranty on our roto-molded products when purchased through authorized dealers, distributors, or approved retail/online channels. This warranty applies to the original purchaser (customer) only, and a valid proof of purchase is required for all claims.
Covered items include kennels (excluding doors and handles), dividers, Water Hole, Easy Rider Top Tray, Water Topper, Toss Bosses, Clean Cuts, Cackle Boxes, and Rod Pod. All other products carry a 30-day limited warranty.
The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only. It does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, pet-related damage (e.g., chewing), accidents, misuse, improper installation, environmental exposure, cleaning chemicals, or product modifications.
If a claim is approved, RuffLand® will coordinate the return, repair or replacement, and cover the associated shipping costs. Dealers should direct customers to provide proof of purchase and contact us for warranty evaluation.

Annual Purchase Requirements

To remain an active RuffLand® dealer, both Drop-Ship and Stock Dealers are expected to purchase a minimum of $7,000 in wholesale product annually, at RuffLand’s discretion.
Dealers who do not meet this requirement may be subject to account review, which could result in termination or the need to requalify by completing a new dealer agreement and repurchasing the initial $3,500 buy-in.
RuffLand® may also implement minimum reorder amounts or updated annual purchase requirements as needed, with advance written notice to dealers.

Stocking & Facillity Requirements (Stocking Dealers Only)

Stocking Dealers are expected to maintain adequate inventory levels to support anticipated customer demand and ensure product availability. This includes planning ahead for seasonal demand, promotions, and new product releases to avoid stockouts and missed sales opportunities.
Dealers must also operate from an appropriate business location with sufficient space to properly store RuffLand® products. This includes maintaining a clean, organized, and secure storage area that protects inventory from damage, weather exposure, or improper handling.
Having the proper facility and inventory levels in place helps ensure a consistent customer experience and supports the overall strength of the RuffLand® dealer network.
Note: These requirements do not apply to Drop-Ship Dealers.

Stock Dealer Order Process

To place a stock order, dealers must first submit the order as a draft through the website. RuffLand® will review the draft for accuracy and availability before moving forward.
Once reviewed, RuffLand® will send an order confirmation along with a request for a 50% deposit. Orders will not enter production until the deposit has been received. Draft orders that remain unpaid after 10 days will be automatically canceled.
Order Process Overview:
  1. Dealer submits order as a draft
  2. RuffLand® reviews the order
  3. Order confirmation and 50% deposit request are sent
  4. Dealer submits deposit → order moves into production
  5. Upon completion, RuffLand® provides a shipping quote
  6. Final invoice is issued (remaining balance + shipping)
  7. Dealer submits final payment in full
  8. Order ships to the dealer’s designated location
This process ensures order accuracy, production scheduling, and timely fulfillment.

MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) Policy

All RuffLand® dealers are required to adhere to our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy. Products must not be advertised below the established MAP pricing on any public-facing platform.
Dealers may offer added value promotions—such as free shipping, gift-with-purchase, or storewide coupon codes—provided that the advertised price remains at or above MAP. Lower pricing may only be reflected in-cart or at checkout, and must not be visible on product pages or other public listings.
If you identify any MAP discrepancies within the market, please notify RuffLand® so we can address them accordingly.

Exclusivity

RuffLand® does not offer exclusivity based on region, state, country, or territory to our dealers.
As we continue to grow our dealer network, we thoughtfully evaluate new partnerships by considering factors such asproximity to existing dealers and whether a prospective dealer serves a different or complementary market. This approach allows us to support overall brand growth while maintaining a strong and balanced dealer network.

How Limited Edition Colors Work

RuffLand® provides dealers with advance notice of limited edition color releases to help you plan and prepare. Dealers are typically notified approximately 2 weeks prior to the public launch. During this time, all release details are confidential and must not be shared publicly. Early disclosure may put your dealer status at risk.
Once RuffLand® announces the color publicly (usually about 1 week before launch), dealers are welcome to begin promoting the release. At that time, we will also confirm whether the color will be available for a set time period or while supplies last.
For “while supplies last” releases, availability can vary and may sell out quickly. We aim to provide a 2–3 day heads-up when inventory is running low so dealers can place final orders; however, in some cases, demand may exceed expectations and a sell-out may occur without advance notice.
We are actively working to improve visibility and communication around inventory levels to better support our dealers during these releases.
